Update your mailing address with previous employers you worked for in 2022

Hey, hey, hey, Did you change employers for 2022?

Please be reminded that you have to update your mailing address with the previous employers you worked for in 2022.

IRS will be sending out CPs 148 to both the employer’s former (148B) and new (148A) addresses to confirm the address change.

Here’s what you need to do:

• If the address change is correct, you don’t need to do anything.

• If the address change is not correct, please return the notice to us with a completed Form 8822-B, Change of Address, or Responsible Party - Business.

Please update any information that is out of date. If it hasn't been, please update it now.
